Nazi carve swastika and Hitler reference into teenage boy’s arm in chilling racist attack

Nazi thugs attacked a teenage boy and carved a swastika into his arm. The sick racists also sliced the numbers 88 into the young man’s arm – a number used by members of the far right to represent the words “Heil Hitler”. In the chilling attack, in the Spanish city of Bilbao, the unnamed young man was on his way home at around 7am when he was approached by a group of men. Brandishing knives, the men then attacked the boy and carved the vile symbols into his arm. The victim’s parents called police and his wounds were shared on social media which have since provoked outrage. The ruling left-wing political party EH Bildu demanded the immediate dismantling of the right-wing cell responsible for the extreme group and requested an urgent meeting of the Board of Spokesmen for the city council to denounce the fascist aggression. Aitziber Ibaibarriaga, the spokesman of EH Bildu, showed his solidarity with the victim and wished him a speedy recovery and described the incident as “very serious”. He said: “We are facing a serious incident which has caused alarm among neighbours. “We are witnessing an increase in activity from a far-right cell which has been spreading hate and fear in the area.” Police are now quizzing a man who was identified by the attacked teenager as being involved.
